Stilwell Shield camping competition and Doug Mason cooking competition 2008

Over the weekend of the 20th and 21st September 2008, 2nd Uxbridge Scouts competed for the Stilwell Shield camping trophy and the Doug Mason camp cooking trophy.

The thanks of all the Leaders who stayed go to Tony Wolff who cooked for us all over the weekend, here serving up a very nice curry. The Doug Mason cooking competition begins with Discovery Explorers doing the judging, thanks very much Discovery.

After the meal a very traditional camp fire Next day every one went to the woods for a wide game.
Bonnie Prince Charlie is over and every one heads back to camp. Striking of camp is well under way.
The diffucult job of working out who has won the two trophies. The Doug Mason camp cooking competition is presented to 1st Uxbridge by John Arnold, the District Commisioner.
