PATROL LEADERS TRAINING COURSE 5th&6th FEBRUARY 2005

Over the weekend of the 5th and 6th February, the District Patrol Leaders Training Course was held at 2nd Uxbridge HQ. The course was designed to improve Scouting skills across the whole district. 2nd Uxbridge had 7 Scouts attending who should all now feel better able to enter competitions like the Stilwell Shield camping competition and the Scoutcraft competition. There was instruction and practice in various Scouting skills including pioneering which involved making a Darlington bomber for use on Saturday afternoon. On Saturday evening the Scouts took part in a cooking competition and on Sunday morning they flew the hot air ballons that they had made. All the Scouts seemed to have a good time and hopefully, they have learnt something too.Scroll down to see the photo's from the weekend.
