ICELANDIC EXPLORER SCOUTS VISIT |
| The Jamboree held recently at Hylands Park in Essex was the largest so far with
forty thousand Scouts from all over the world attending. After the Jamboree was over some of those
who camped were invited to take part in what was known as Home Hospitality. This meant
that they got the chance to stay in homes around the country and experience a little of life in the UK.
From Wednesday 8th August to Sunday 12th August, 2nd Uxbridge i.e. Mike and Angela, Steve and Sue
and Martin and Sandy (Josie's mum and dad) entertained a group of eight Explorer Scouts from Iceland.
They visited various parts of London, took a trip to Brownsea Island and did lot's of shopping.
