UNIFORM Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Network Scouts all wear the same dark blue combat style trousers, no need to buy new ones unless they do not fit. Beavers Scout uniform consists of the blue Beaver sweatshirt, uniform activity trousers and Group scarf with woggle. Cub Scout uniform consists of the green Cub sweatshirt, uniform activity trousers and Group scarf with woggle. Scout uniform consists of Scouts teal green long sleeved shirt, uniform activity trousers, Scout belt and Group scarf with woggle. Beaver Scouts is the section for 6 to 8 year old boys. The Beaver Scout Leader at 2nd Uxbridge is Jane Sanguy. We are a very popular group and there may be a waiting list for Beavers. If there is room then your son can join from age 5 and 3/4. If our Beaver colony is full then Jane will be able to put you in contact with another Beaver colony in the area. Cub Scouts is the section for boys aged 8 to 10 and 1/2. The Cub Scout section is again very popular and there may be a waiting list. Our Cub Scout Leader is Mike Payen. COST The 2nd Uxbridge 2006 annual subscription is £60 per year. This includes all the costs of running the Group, the District and the National Association, and, at less than £1.50 a week, I am sure you would agree, is amazing value. Back to the Top |
