| Over the Easter week end, two groups of Explorer Scouts from Discovery went on
expeditions across Dartmoor. They left the HQ very early on Good Friday morning, about 4.30am!
After travelling down to Devon, thay started walking at about 8.30. They then spent the weekend in some
of the most beautiful countryside you could wish for, and encountering nature at first hand, including
some very boggy marshland and an illegal rave! They finished the weekend at Buckfastleigh Abbey and all
seemed to have enjoyed themselves. There are quite a few pictures but they are all quite good and I thought
that you should have the opportunity of seeing them all. |
